A dark ruby/garnet color is followed by a stunning nose of spice box, cedar, soy, cinnamon, red and black fruits, earth, and truffle scents. Few wines achieve the aromatic intensity and complexity of Soldera's Brunello di Montalcinos.

In the mouth, the 1994 is medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic, with sweet ripeness, a firm tannic underpinning, and a pure, concentrated finish. Drink it over the next 15-18 years.
