DISTILLED IN 2007 AND BOTTLE IN 2020 The House of Rum Paraguay Batch #3 2008 is a honey cane rum produced by the renowned Castilla distillery, founded in Paraguay in 1993 by the Diaz family. This distillery owns the Fortin rum brand. Sensitive to ecological issues, it produces rums following a 100% organic manufacturing process. The sugar canes are cultivated without treatment and always harvested by hand.
The rum was distilled in 2008 in a column made entirely of copper. It was then placed in ex-bourbon oak barrels, before being finished in pedro ximénez and brandy barrels. It was not released until 2022, when 7071 bottles were bottled.
