This Navy Rum "90 ° proof" by Caroni was created to celebrate the centenary of the distillery and, since its packaging, reproduces the only Caroni exported to England in the '40s by Tate & Lyle. Aged 18 years in Trinidad and bottled to the degree of the original edition, or 90 ° imperial proof, it is a Rum of rare excellence.
To the eye it appears a beautiful amber color, with mahogany reflections.
On the nose it is full and round, with dominant notes of molasses and a slight spiciness.
On the palate it is warm and balanced with hints of dried fruit.
